At Lemmon Valley Calvary, our emphasis is on experiencing authentic worship of God. We do not gather because it is Sunday and that is the thing that our culture or our upbringing has taught us to do. We gather because we need to experience the life giving, life changing power of God in our lives. He is here!
Each of us comes to worship with a story. We have all experienced life and, often times, it has been tough. One of the things that makes LVCCN different is that we have never forgotten where we have come from. I stand before you as one who has been forgiven, not one that is better. That really is the theme.
We have two Sunday morning worship services. Both services are the same in style. The message and the music are the same. The real purpose for two services was originally just a need for additional space. Both services are very relaxed in nature. You will see some that are dressed in suit and tie, others in jeans and t-shirts. It does not matter how you come, just come!
The services probably lean toward the more contemporary style when it comes to music. Much of our music is modern choruses or some of the beloved hymns sung to a modern arrangement. However, that is not always true. We sing songs because they help us worship, not because they are old or new. At LVCCN, there is no such thing as worship wars. Both young and old are able to worship in our services.
